Rubber bushing with rotational mounting pin

The rotional rubber bushing from Dellner Dampers AB is designed to combine the advantages of a rubber bushing and a rotational bearing. It gives good isolation without exposing the damper or the bushing to bending torque.

In applications where the damper mounts are is exposed to large rotation, the rubber is exposed to a large risc of early fatigue failure. Ball bearing assembly used in the same application, has low isolation and thereby transmitting unnecessary high frequencies.

In this combined bushing , the chose of material of the pin and the cylindrical bearings gives a maintenance free bearing combination. The large bearing surface gives a long fatigue life. This bushing was introduced 2003. Field experience has since then shown no failure.
