Three-Flap Carton Closing Machine

Fully automatic Carton Closing Machine accurately positions, closes, and seals three-flap cartons at line speeds up to 150 cartons per minute. Its precise, servo-driven carton transport and positioning mechanism ensures consistent, high- quality, square-corner seals every time. Handles both corrugated and paperboard cartons.The heart of the system is innovative technology that introduces “intelligent positioning” to the closing operation. During sealing, this patent-pending technology precisely aligns the leading edge of each carton to consistently produce symmetrically sealed cartons that project a high-quality image both in retail venues and on consumers’ tables.

• Fast, accurate product changeovers.
Kapstone accommodates a full range of carton sizes. Equipment is crank adjustable for width and height parameters, with counters for fast and repeatable mechanical setup. Product changeovers are accom-plished in ten minutes or less. • Repeatable performance.
Advanced servomotor devices control carton motion and positioning to achieve high-quality seals. “Intelligent positioning” alleviates the need for trial-and-error adjustments. • Conserves floor space.

Delkor specializes in welded mono-frame tubular stainless steel construction, which provides maximum durability and longevity in the harshest plant environments. A NEMA-4 electrical enclosure is standard. Available options include a painted carbon steel frame and NEMA-12 enclosure. • Safe.
