Product description
ZEM
Injector
DESCRIPTION
The ZEM Series injectors are positive displacement
injectors (PDIs) that deliver precise and controlled
lubrication outputs, meeting the exact requirements
for a variety of diverse applications. They are predetermined
volumetric injectors that ensure each
lubrication point receives the proper amount of
lubricant. Which means there is no worry about over
or under lubrication.
OPERATION
ZEM series injectors are classic PDIs, reliable and
accurate. When pressure builds in the manifold the
piston in the injector moves forward, discharging a
set amount of lubricant to the lubrication point.
As the pressure is relieved, a compression spring
returns the piston to its original position.
This movement recharges the injector (discharge chamber) and the injector is now ready for the next
cycle.
It is important to note that the lubricating pump used with ZEM series injector must build pressure in the
system to a minimum of 15 bars (220 psi) to actuate the injector discharge. The recommended operating
pressure is 21 bars (300 psi).
A pressure relief valve is also required to quickly drop the line pressure between 0.3 and 0.7 bar (5 to 11
psi) range between lubrication cycles. This allows for the injector to fully recharge
