WinTerm - User Manual - M306GB This line describes the programmed tool (whether active or not) as in the tools table. If the programmed tool is also active (after M6) the programmed tool line is identical to the active tool line. 9. NATIVE LINES This area is dedicated to the native Z32 lines visualization. 10. DIALOG LINE This line contains the commands given by the operator and the relative responses. 11. DISPLAY WITH ADVANCED INSTRUCTIONS :D AND :P It is possible to display variables using advanced instruction :D, :P or from the PLC Display using advanced instruction :D or by PLC Strings and parameter values can be displayed on two lines of 80 characters during execution of a part program using advanced ‘:D’ (Display) instruction. See manuals ‘CNC Z32 Programming Manual’ and ‘M99 CNC Z32 ML - PLC Reference Manual’. Display using advanced instruction :P Strings and parameter values can be displayed on two lines of 80 characters during execution of a part program using advanced :P (Print) instruction. See the manual ‘CNC Z32 Programming Manual’. 12. PLC MESSAGES Contains any eventual messages transmitted from the PLC to the operator. If there are more than one message, the messages are displayed on the video with a rotation of one every 2 seconds. They can be paused by striking the ‘OPR’ key or with bit 7E5 of the PLC. 13. PLC /
CN ERRORS Contains any eventual CNC error and any PLC error (black messages with red background). In case of alarm can be shown: The string CN.... followed by four characters and the description of the alarm when the CNC detects an alarm situation. The string MU.... followed by four characters and the description of the alarm when the PLC detects an alarm situation. The meaning of the four characters is established by the machine manufacturer. 14. Z32 STATUS Contains the description of the Z32 status: START - STOP, AUTO - SINGLE -MANUAL - BLOCK, OPR, TEST, HOLD, /, JOG 15. MENU Using this menu it is possible to access all the functionality of the Z32 CNC. 16. SIS VERSION, DATE, TIME Contains the Z32 SIS version number, current date and current time. 17. PROCESS Contains the indication of the process the CNC is connected to. 18. OPR AREA When OPR is active, this area is used to pass character sequences to the PLC. 19. AXES PANEL The positions of the axes are presented with five integers and three decimal numbers, in the measurement unit defined by the system (mm, degrees, etc.). If the setting ‘Machine in inches’ is active, the values of the axes are displayed with three integers and five decimal numbers. In case of indexed axes, the values are displayed in millimetres even if the machine is set up in inches, as the axes are directly controlled by the PLC. If the machine is a
industrial lathe, the diametral axes is visualized with a D below the axes name (ex. X >
D -12344,222). The background colour of the panel can change according to the following code: WHITE BACKGROUND : axis controlled by the CN. GRAY BACKGROUND : axis not alive >
