This manual refers to WinTerm 3.0 or later. The WinTerm user interface is an alternative to the ZTERM or TERMS interface. Using WinTerm it is possible to manage all the functionality of Z32 and to visualize CNC and machine status with video pages dedicated to each operation. In order to use the software and the machine to their full extent, the operator must not only know the performance of the numeric control, described in this manual and in other Z32 manuals, but also the particular functions that the manufacturer has introduced with the programmable logic and system subroutines. To enter WinTerm, run WinTerm program from “Z32 for Windows” package. This package contains all the programs needed to use the Z32 CN. The control on the double activation of WinTerm is embedded in Windows, and prevents the WinTerm interface from being launched more than once. For special occurrences this limitation may be removed. To quit WinTerm, press ALT-X keys. In order to use WinTerm interface, it is necessary to be connected to an operational Z32. Before launching WinTerm, Z32 must be activated and connected.
