| It is possible to add to the tool parameter list any Z32 parameter. The parameter values are initialized when the tool is called with the M6 function. For example, if you add to the T5 parameters list the parameters F 1000 and HA 45, after programming T5 M6, the HA value will be 45 and the feed value F will be 1000. The Z32 Tools table is very flexible, so you have to manage the table depending on the use you want to do with it. The minimum information to be saved for each tool are: the tool number T, its position # and the tool length L. The F2 - MODIFY HEADER (or F2 - MODIFY PARAMETERS) allows you to move from the parameters list to the tool header and vice-versa. Press F3 - SAVE to save the tool in the table. For single-process machines, the tools table is saved in the file number 127 of the CMOS. By editing this file, it is possible to see the complete description of each tool, for example: T1#1L123,35(Drill) T2#2L150,56(Tap D8) T3#3L144,56R12,0DDL0,2DDR0,1(Mill D24) Press ESC - CANCEL to terminate the new tool introduction. |
