WinTerm - User Manual - M306GB F5 – F6 – F7 – F8 : CUT , COPY , PASTE First of all select the file that you want to move. You can select a file clicking on it with the mouse. Hold down the “ Shift ” key and use the arrow keys to select adjacent files. Hold the “ Control ” key down and click with the left mouse button to select single files in random order. After selecting the files that you want to move, press F5-CUT or F6-COPY button. With the CUT operation you will move the selected files to another folder deleting the files from the source folder. With COPY operation you will copy the selected files to another folder, but the files in the source folder will not be deleted. Once selected the CUT or COPY operation, the following menu will appear: F7 – PASTE F8 – CANCEL The F8 – CANCEL button cancels the cut or copy operation. The F7 – PASTE button moves (after a cut operation) or duplicates (after a copy operation) the selected files. Before pressing the PASTE button it is necessary to move to the destination folder. F9 – IMPORT : imports files from network, floppy disk, CD or other source folders. Enter in the destination folder in the file list and press F9 – IMPORT. The following window will appear: Navigate through the folder structure, select the file that you want to import and press Enter (or click on the “Import” button). Pressing the “ Advanced ” button it is possible to open a new dialog window that allows you to reach any folder on your PC or in your LAN network. Press the “ Cancel ” button or the ESC key to close the window. F10 – EXPORT : Select the file that want to export and press the F10 – EXPORT button. The following windows will appears: Navigate through the folder structure, select the destination folder and press Enter. With the “New Folder” button it is possible to create a new folder. Press the “ Cancel ” button or the ESC key to close the window. ESC – EXIT MANAGER . Closes the resource manager window.
