3.1.1 USING MLVIS VIEW

MLVIS view, if provided with your installation, contains information about PLC variables and machine signals. You can enter in and exit from MLVIS view by pressing CTRM+M . In the MLVIS view you can use the following commands: Page Down Next page. Page Up Previous page. CTRL - Page Down Last page. CTRL - Page Up First page. CTRL - Q - F Find the specified string starting from the current page. CTRL - Q - N Find the page with specified number. Down arrow Select lower datum (if there are selectable data in the current page) Up arrow Select upper datum (if there are selectable data in the current page) Enter If the selected datum is modifiable, switch to write mode. ESC Cancel the action. Using the mouse: select data with left button, change page by clicking on the title bar of MLVIS page.

3.1.2 USING GUIDED / NATIVE CONSOLE

You can use the native console (open the options menu in the toolbar ( SHIFT+F5 ) and select native console ( SHIFT+F4 )). Native console has been implemented for advanced users, accustomed to TERMS interface. Setting native console mode is not recommended for new users.

3.1.3 TARGET MANGEMENT

If provided with your installation, target management allows you to connect WinTerm console to more than one Z32 CNC. We suggest you to leave this functionality to expert users or service technicians. To enter the target management open the options toolbar (SHIFT+F5) and select the target management (SHIFT+F2). To connect to a target, select it from the list and press the “Select” button. Use the “Connect” button to specify the IP address of the Z32 you want to connect to.
