Product Announcement Dedicated Micros is announcing the latest addition to its NetVu Connected family of CCTV products, the 2040/2060 IP Dome. Based on the 2040/2060 Dome housings, Dedicated Micros IP Domes provide the user with remotely configurable dome cameras, operating over IP networks. The integrated single channel encoder and power supply gives users greater control over their dome cameras. The increased flexibility allows users to directly view, configure and control the dome over an IP network, remotely, from anywhere in the world. The vandal resilient 2060 – made from a die-cast outer body and impact resistant, polycarbonate hemisphere - is highly durable and ideal for use in both outdoor and indoor environments. The 2040 is a robust, cost effective and compact surveillance dome camera solution designed for the indoor environment. It is quick and simple to install, and comes in two formats suitable either for tile mount, or wall bracket, ceiling or pendant mounting. Existing Dennard 2040 or 2060 domes can be upgraded to operate over an IP network by replacing the existing PSU with the new integrated IP PSU.
