LABORATORY & SPECIALTY At A Glance KILLION KXE SERIES EQUIPMENT www.davis-standard.com The Killion KXE Series product line from Davis-Standard, LLC is designed with a compact footprint and maximum versatility for small-scale production applications and laboratory research use. All KXE equipment is available independently, as a retrofit to existing equipment, or in conjunction with a complete system, including control systems, dies, and winders. • Compact Pelletizer – Features a 2-inch (51mm) throat for input of up to six strands of material for pellets 1/8 inch (3.2mm) in diameter • Blown Film Tower – Well-equipped to pull, collapse, and nip blown film for high quality film production • Cast Film Take-off Unit – Designed for narrow web production and laboratory research by allowing for a range of materials, product tolerances, and instrumentation • Sheet Unit – Production-rated for specialized narrow width applications as well as simulating production sheet conditions in a laboratory • FPV Pump – Improves quality control testing of compounds by providing accurate and repeatable pressure control • Gel Scan – Defect Inspection System Safety guarding may have been removed to better illustrate machine features.
