PROOF EPC-SERIES IDEAL FOR HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS Specifically designed to meet the electrical standards required in hazardous or classified manufac- turing and processing environments, David Round's EPC-Series chain hoists set a new standard for electric chain hoists. EXPLOSION-PROOF/ □UST-IGNITION-PRODF Featuring NEMA 7 or NEMA 9 enclosures, pendants and fittings as well as explosion-proof rated motors as required, EPC-Series electric chain hoists are intended for H-4 opération in Class I environments with flammable gasses and vapors and Class II locations where combustible dust is présent Units are further configured for use in either Division I or II rated facilities. SPARK-RESISTANT FEATURES To further reduce the likelihood of inadvertent sparking during normal lifting opérations, ail EPC-Series hoists include spark-resistant features.
