Datamax Introduces the I-Class RFID printer, the only truly "RFID Ready" printer available to meet the needs of all current and potential RFID smart label users. The I-Class RFID & RFID Ready printer Is available now for users who are interested in incorporating RFID printing capabilities now or at some point in the future. This printer features all of the benefits and modularity of the Datamax I-Class printer, with the addition of a field-installable RFID module available from Datamax. The Datamax I-Class RFID printer currently supports two different modules, one HF and one UHF. The HF module operates at 13.56 MHz and supports the ISO 15693 High Frequency standard. The UHF module operates between 860 and 960 MHz depending on geographic region and supports the EPCglobal Class 0, 0+, 1, and Class 1 Gen 2 standards, along with ISO 18000-6 and Philips U Code.
