The Datamax A-Class tamlly ot advanced prim engines includes a number ot innovative design features such as stainless steel hardware componenis, modular electronics card cage, field installable thermal transfer ribbon assembly, a remote control panel, and a lull graphics display.

Designed lor print and apply applicator integration, the A-Class utilizes the industry recognized Datamax l-Class tirmware architecture with connectivity options lo industry standard communications interfaces.

For compliance requirements, Ihe A-Class wilh RFID option allows users to encode smarl labels at the poinl ol print, where most experts agree that encoding should lake place to avoid any chance ol mismatch between printed and encoded intotmalion. The A-Class RFID oplion currently accommodales EPCglobal Class 1 tags with either 64 or 95 bits ol memory. More lag encoding capabilities wilt be added as specilications and reqjiiemenis evolve.
