| | | The volume, weight and handling difficulty of the parts demand very ergonomic design criteria, both to help the loading/unloading operations and to facilitate a comfortable access to the machine for maintenance. The structure of the machine, calculated by the finite element analysis method, is made of stabilised cast iron, the industrial slide ways have linear bearings, and the transmissions are direct. The machine as a whole is of high rigidity, with a substantial vibration damping capacity and very precise and sensitive positioning. All necessary measures have been taken to remove the heat generated resulting in a thermally stable machine. The electronics installed are digital and the transmission to the rotary axes is by maintenance free direct drive motors. All machine axes have direct position reading professional scales. | | |
