| | | The new IDEKO installation, with a total area of 3.000 m2, includes off ices, conference rooms and two machine shops with the latest generation of products. The first ULTRA PRECISION shop is for basic research and is temperature (±0,5°C) and humidity controlled and isolated from the environment. The second, the HEAVY MACHINE shop, also with temperature control, is a show room and will also be used to perform customer trials. The aim is to provide a faster and more efficient response to the increasingly demanding market, with solutions adapted to specific needs of the customer. Visitors to the Open House were provided with a presentation on the Company and the Group, a visit to the new IDEKO installations and finally a tour around the assembly area. Our customers had the opportunity to see the construction of machines, from the cast iron bed to the inished machine removing metal. They could also discuss on the spot any issues of safety, ergonomics, ecology etc . The Open House was a great success. It publicised the high qualification level of the assembly engineers, the meticulousness in following the manufacturing processes, the care over the assembly and the tidiness and cleanliness of our installations. The customers' presence in the factory also provided the opportunity to discuss their projects in depth with the relevant people, without any time or space limitation. Once the professional subjects were clarii ed there was still time to enjoy the hospitality offered by our Country. The number of visitors was in excess of 500 and was above expectations. Visitors came from Germany, Spain, France Finland, Italy, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland Norway, Russia etc. This scrutinising by customers of the technological shop window of Danobat has encouraged us to organise future events. | | |
