The material measure has a dividing period of 1000ìm and is laser welded on the bearing ring. So a maximum of scanning precision is guaranteed. In the evaluation electronic device AVE the signals are transmitted by an analogue/digital evaluation process. If required, the scan-resolution of the analogue signal can be increased significantly (up to the maximum subdividing factor 32) by means of digital interpolation. So a reduced signal period is achieved while the interpolation factor of the control system is sustained.
