Slipchain Trailer Operation
The Slipchain can be easily fitted to new or existingvehicles. The trailer normally receives its power from the Slipchain dock control panel via a socket mounted at the front of the dock, or a convenient wall or stand. The roller tracks and Slipchain on the trailer are raised using the trailers own air supply via the control valves situated in the control box on the side of the trailer. •Quick and easy to install•Improves vehicle utilisation •Interface with existing factory and warehouse pallet handling systems•Eliminates product damage caused during loading •Improves loading bay safety •Reduces warehouse personnel and releases them for other duties Operation modes

The continuous pressure to improve the efficiency of the logistics chain affectseveryone within an organisation. Each department must continuously strive to reducethe cost of all the activities associated with the processing of goods through productionand out to the customer. For this reason material movements are becoming more andmore automated, with the introduction of equipment such as automated palletising, stretch wrapping and conveyor systems in the factory, and automated conveyors, storage, sortation and picking systems in the distribution warehouse. However, there is a vital part of this process that is sometimes overlooked or consideredto be unsuitable or too expensive - that process is Automated Vehicle Loading. The potential saving that can be achieved by the careful integration of Vehicle LoadingSystems can be remarkable, and in some cases payback can be within the 1 year.

CSi can offer an extensive range of Automated Vehicle Loading Systems, each designed specifically to suit most applications found atthe unloading or loading bay in the factory, or distribution warehouse.
