T-BOX products satisfy all needs relating to Telemetry. They allow traditional remote monitoring mechanisms such as precise registration of events, alarm management, multi-communications, and interfacing with all types of spe-cifi c local equipment.The confi guration software contains all tools needed to create the Telemetry functions, without requiring any computer specialisation on the part of the programmer. A few clicks, and all of these functions can be defi ned without the possibility of errors. By comparison they are often diffi cult and laborious to program in the world of the standard industrial PLC. Alarm Management T-BOX can send alarms to diff erent types of recipients: central supervi-sory station (SCADA), printer, mobile phone, e-mail boxes, servers and web portals, pagers, another T-BOX, etc. The management of repeat attempts in the event of a failed call, the use of a built-in dial-up calendar, automatic redirection to emergency sites, the monitoring of acknowledgements, are just a few examples of the integrated alarm management at the heart of the TBOX prod-ucts. The adaptation to new SMS technologies enables each alarm to be individually acknowledged by GSM, while recording the date, time, person concerned, and the action taken in the database. Levels of authority are defi ned through the use of diff erent passwords for al-lowing or prohibiting certain remote commands. 4 -
