â–¼ Alignment Systems The CXTLA single- and dual-axisanalog tilt sensors offer high-resolu-tion, accuracy, and fast response inan inexpensive, easy-to-use package. The CXTLA series design centers ona highly stable silicon micro-ma-chined capacitive inclination sensor element. The CXTLA series is fullysignal conditioned with high levelanalog output(s), and optional analog temperature signal.Micro-machined devices, perfected inautomotive safety applications, offer several distinct advantages over fluid,electrolytic, and pendulum-basedsensors. Like other solid-state devices, they are more reliable than their me-chanical counterparts. In a packagesmaller than many pendulum or fluidsensing elements, completely inte-grated electronics eliminate the needfor external components. Unlike other micro-machineddevices, the CXTLA Series maintains its accuracy and stability overtemperature:
