Electromechanical assembly comprising:-120V motor - Life-lubricated speed reduction gearbox with worm screw - Gearbox driven by pulleys and V-belt - Balance achieved by built-in traction springs - Obstacle driven by sprocket-wheels and roller chain - Limit switches activated by adjustable cams - Adjustable safety friction clutch regulated by Ferodo disks5. Obstacle made of heavy-gauge goffered steel sheetwelded on a strong steel profile frame6. Step skirt made up of 1.5mm-thick telescopic steel sheets, white enamelled with red reflecting stripes - Grease removal, 5-µm thick zinc phosphatisation and20-µm thick cataphoresis treatment (cathodic process)- One coat of rustproofing primer, 2-componentmicaceous iron epoxy, 40 µm thick- One coat of 2-component polyurethane finish paint,40 µm thick. Standard colour: orange RAL 2000 for cabinet, white for skirt.Polymerisation of successive coats is accelerated byoven drying at 80 C. SURFACE TREATMENT 1° LATERAL CABINET AND STEP SKIRT

ROAD BLOCKERTYPE RB10 Light model to be installed directly onto the road sur- face, without pit or special in- frastructure. Specially designed to control access of existing high security parking areas. Two models are available, with 4 configurations for each. 7. Driving shaft onpillow blocks with crankshaft/rod device ensuring smooth operation and mechanical locking of step when in upper po- sition8. Frame to be fixed on the road sur- face bymeans of rawlbolts. Difference of level must be com- pensated by two concrete slopes (tobe provided by customer). Metal slopes are available as options (see over)10. Red/green traffic light mounted on cabinet. 11. Emergency crank for manual operation in case of power failure.
