Rotomould Cases Rotomoulded polyethylene containers are widely used for military applications and in the telecommunications, medical and marine industries. Their many advantages include: • Tough and resilient - unlike other processes, rotomoulding does not stress the material during production, so it retains its strength. • Rotomoulding distributes 15% to 20% more polymer into the corners, giving improved absorption of impact and shock when the container is dropped. • Tooling costs are relatively low and can be amortised over the price for requirements from 150 units upwards. • Polyethylene is an inert material that is resistant to solvents, oils and acids and can be readily decontaminated by high pressure steam cleaning. • Non-metallic – an important safety feature for some applications. Corners can be rounded to prevent damage to other objects and injury to handlers. An elastomeric seal can be introduced between the base and lid to create a hermetic seal, enabling containers to be watertight and dust proof.Rotomoulded polyethylene containers maintain their integrity in extreme temperatures (-40ËšC to +70ËšC) A range of colours can be incorporated in the polyethylene so the colour is integral to the product and not a surface coating.Double skin construction enables internal contours to be moulded into the case to house specic equipment. At CP Cases we can design and manufacture rotomoulded containers to meet your exact requirements. For complex shapes we use the latest design software in Solidworks 2008. We create space models where required and produce tooling in our own factory to ensure a nished product that is t for purpose. For production runs from as little as 150 a bespoke rotomoulded case can be a very cost effective solution.Where smaller quantities are required CP has its own wide range of “Amazon Cases” available in standard sizes, which if necessary can be customised by “cut and weld” techniques to get the case size you require
