The DOUBLE Valve is ideal for weighing applications. The large diameter vane is used to quickly discharge the majority of product and the small multi-vane rotor is used to accurately trickle feed the final portion. Double Valve has been introduced to provide greater control of product flow. Operation • The inner rotor and outer vane are operated by using pneumatic actuators. The outer vane is rotated 90° to open and shut it. The inner rotor oscillates through 180° to trickle feed product. • Feed rate in trickle feed phase is controlled by using frequency of oscillation • Operates in conjunction with a balance - fast flow with the vane open for most part of product, then changes to trickle feed for final weight adjustment Application • Very precise dosing of final total weight • Cleaning in place : no need for valve disassembly • Discharge of process machinery Features • Electro-polished finishing for optimal surface cleanability and easy product flow • Easy to remove and strip for cleaning - particularly those equipped with quick release flanged systems • Small size and weight • Sterilizable by autoclaving • Crevice free GMP design • Ideal for powders and granules • Individually certified with CO.RA. registered trade mark and serial number • Material origin, surface finish and pressure test certificates available on request • Material : 316 L (1.4404) • Finish : mirror polished inside, satin outside Dimensions • Available in sizes from 80 to 250mm diameter • Tell us Your requirements, we will advise on the right valve for Your application General • Various body styles including quick release clamp band systems for rapid cleaning disassembly (see Sole Valve and Rotary Valve catalogues) • Fitted as standard with FDA acceptable silicone gasket seal around larger rotor - no seal required between the rotors
