SYSTEMOVERVIEW INSTALLATIONNOTES •Sounder is soft addressed for ease of installation•Sounder has built in short circuit isolator •Sounder incorporates a detector mounting base as standard•Detector does not have to be fitted, can be used as a stand alone sounder•If detector is not fitted, optional cover plate is used(MASC - ordered separately) •Installation is simple using first fix base•First fix base is fixed to mounting surface using via 2 fixings holes•Cables enter through aperture in base (rear entry only)•Main body is then clipped into place on base, main body locks into place when pressed into position•Cables pass through aperture in sounder body and terminate atthe front•Connections are to connector block on front of main sounder body•Detector or cover plate is then fixed to sounder•Detector or cover plate can be locked in place if required SYSTEMFUNCTIONALITY •Volume is set by fire control panel, no need to access sounder to alter setting•Tone is set by fire control panel, no need to access sounder to alter setting•Soft addressed
