The JSB Bi wire base sounder has been developedspecifically to operate with JSB Bi wire panels and to complement the latest generation of Bi wire detectors. The base sounder incorporates a detector mounting base, a detector can be fitted to the base or alternatively an optional cover plate can be used to enable the sounder to operate as a dedicated discreet stand alone sounder.

DEVICEOVERVIEW INSTALLATIONNOTES •Sounder incorporates a detector mounting base as standard•Detector does not have to be fitted, can be used as a stand alone sounder•If detector is not fitted, optional cover plate is used(FXN538/COV - ordered separately) •Installation is simple using first fix base•First fix base is fixed to mounting surface using 2 fixing holes •Cables enter through aperture in base (rear entry only)•Main body is then clipped into place on base, main body locks into place when pressed into position•Cables pass through aperture in sounder body and terminate atthe front•Connections are on front of main sounder body•Detector or cover plate is then fixed to sounder•Detector or cover plate can be locked in place if required DEVICEFUNCTIONALITY •Bi wire technology allows conventional detectors callpoints andsounders to be connected on the same pair of wires •Base sounder further reduces installation time, cost and effort byenabling a detector and sounder to be fixed and wired at a single common point•Bi wire base sounder is only suitable for use with JSB range of Bi wire conventional panels TECHNICALSPECIFICATION
