SYSTEMOPERATION PANEL •An EasiDim interface module is fitted into all suitable luminaires with digital high frequency regulating control gear•Photocells fitted with an interface module are installed to

industrial levels•Each module is given a unique address number, using a hand held programmer•Every interface module is then connected to a 2 core BUS cable, which is linked back to the control panel. Up to 250 interface modules can be connected to a single panel•When switched on, the panel self learns the number of interfaces connected to it•Text information is allocated to each system component during commissioning via a PC, by a Cooper Lighting and Security commissioning engineer•Luminaires are programmed via the panel to operate as partof a group, or individually. Minimum and maximum light levelis set up for each group, after which light output is adjusted automatically within the limits set, in response to changes in daylight levels recorded by the photocell •Photocells provide daylight information for single luminaires,or one or more groups, with a maximum of 1 photocell per group. Different groups can be programmed to respond to information from the same photocell at a different rate or level, by allocating offset and gain attributes via the panel•Global control of on/off/max output and manual override can be provided by
industrial timers, PIR detectors etc, via an input interface•EasiCheck™ addressable self-test
emergency lighting interfaces can also be connected to the same BUS cable loop.
The EasiDim panel also contains EasiCheck™ testing
professional software, to provide an integrated system. A maximum of 250 EasiDim and EasiCheck™ interface modules can operate on the same system. See page 195 for details of EasiCheck™ functionality•A

If a greater numberare required, up to 63 panels can be networked, by using anetworking card programmed by Cooper Lighting and Security.Access to panel functions by means of a secure password.All functions controlled by keypad, via a series of user friendlymenus with context sensitive help information. System set up can
