Agilite 560
Pioneering Temporal Frontiers
Continuum has developed a powerful new class of high energy Nd:YAG laser. The Agilite embodies innovative optical design, intelligent control architecture, and an intuitive Graphical User Interface, making it the most versatile standard platform laser in the marketplace today.
The proprietary Agilite pulse shaping technology coupled with Continuum's high gain laser heads delivers pulse widths from 50ns to lOOusec, with excellent beam quality. Outputs up to 100Hz, energies over 600mJ, and standard harmonics are available.
Laser management is orchestrated through the proprietary Agilite control electronics and instinctive computer interface. Microprocessors are distributed throughout the laser deck and power supply components, thus enabling full system monitoring and control.
The included Graphical User interface (GUI) is the external conduit of the Agilite control electronics. All relevant operational parameters are captured by the GUI. A single control window clearly displays information and provides intuitive control over the entire Agilite system.
Key to the software interface, and integral to the laser's pulse shaper, is the pulsewidth editing module. Agilite temporal output is altered by changing the internal modulator's drive input. Basic waveforms
are created through ready-made functions. Complex waveforms are generated through intuitive "click and drag" actions. During laser operation, recalling stored waveforms easily accesses a variety of pulsewidths.
Agilite makes new temporal frontiers more accessible than ever.
