Data Rates The minimum data rate for Industrial Ethernet is 10 Mbpsand some devices can only operate at that speed. However, other devices can operate at the next higher speed, 100 Mbps, or at either speed. If all devices can operate at 10 Mbps, it is possible to use a repeating hub.
