FREEZE PROTECTION VALVE

The Apollo Series 40-000 Freeze Protection Valve protects backflow preventers from freezingwhen installed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. All internal parts of the Freeze Protection Valve are replaceable.

40-000 SERIES OPERATION

During flow conditions, the Freeze Protection Valve shall be drip-tight during above-freezing normal operating conditions. The Freeze Protection Valve shall be suitable for normal operating pressures of 20 to 175 psig.
