High Density (HD) mechanically sealed feedthrough assemblies, with Conax Buffalo PG "soft seal" glands for pressure or vacuum sealing, permit multiple insulated wires to be installed through a single port for chamber profiling and product validation in
sterilizers and
freeze dryers.The assembly consists of a
stainless steel tube over bundled insulated
thermocouple wires, with or without junctions, and/or copper wires, providing a continuous wire feedthrough. Up to 60 conductor wires (30
thermocouple pairs) can pass through the PG-style feedthrough. High density feedthroughs can also be configured with Conax MHM glands to accommodate up to 96 conductors (48 pairs).(Refer to Conax Catalog 5001A or our website for details.) The feedthrough is normally furnished with 24 inches of leadwire on each end. Longer wire lengths may be furnished as required. The feedthrough and sealing gland exceed the pressure rating of the sanitary flange.
