Connect serial devices like printers, industrial scanners, industrial cameras, and LCD screens. | | The RocketPort EXPRESS product line is Comtrol's latest family of multi-port serial adapters. Products are fully compatible with systems that have x1, x2, x4, x8, x12 and x16 lane PCI Express expansion slots. The EXPRESS design takes advantage of the increased performance of Comtrol's exclusive Unity ASIC chip. Cards are low profile and are for use in both standard PC's and low-profile servers. Quad-cabled and octa-cabled products reach serial communication speeds of 921 Kbps and products with an interface communicate at up to 460 Kbps. All products support software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial communication modes. The product family includes models from 4-ports to 32-ports with up to 128 ports per system. | | |
