PLL
Precision latch lock
The PLL is made up of: latch, lock and release pin
The precision latch lock installs internally to allow easy mould base machining and quick latch lock installation. The required holes can be bored while machining cavity pockets, grind lock and release pin to length and install. No need for hand-fitting of difficult machining set-up.
- Positive pulling and realising action without using springs
- Tool steel construction give excellent wear resistance
- Mould opening is unrestricted for plastic part ejction, sprue picking and robot use
-Applications include stripper plate moulds with and without delay, three plate moulds, double ejection and collapsible core moulds
- In-line pulling action, no side loads are introduced
- Internal location prevents unauthorized adjustments
- All parts are self-contained for safety

APPLICATION Stripper Plate Moulds
The head of the release pin (2) must support only the stress to open the latch (3) and not to move the plates.
Screw M5 to eventual extension
Note:
To calculate the length of the release pin (2), with shoulder screw (1) at the end of stroke, it is recommended a quote A of 0,5/1 mm
