Single Blow Air Hammer Model 75/85AT Operation Guide
Mounting/Air Connection: Hand Held (AT version)- There are two air port locations on the hand held version, one at the base of the handle, and one on the back of the unit (opposite the stamp holder). Connect an airline to either one of these locations. Keep the other location plugged.
Model 75/85AT Operating Instructions: To Mark: Grasp handle firmly. Press marker, with stamp mounted in rod end, lightly against part. Make sure you align centeriine of marker 90° (square) to the marking surface to assure that all characters on the stamp are in contact with the marking surface, push HARD, quickly, against the surface. Marker fires internally. To Reset: Lift marker off of the marking surface. Internal anvil will make a strong, audible "CLICK", indicating reset is complete and marker is ready for the next cycle. *Note: Mark depth is controlled by adjusting the air pressure between 20 and 10-Gpsi using the regulator of the filter/regulator/lubricator offered as an option. The higher the air pressure, the harder the required push to actuate the marker.
Air requirements - Model 75/85 is air powered for the marking force. CMT recommends a 3/8" minimum shop airline, and each unit should be installed with it's own FRL (Filter Regulator Lubricator). Maximum operating pressure of 100psi, minimum operating pressure 20 psi.
Adjustments
Mark Depth - Increase air pressure to mark deeper. Decrease air pressure to mark lighter.
To regulate marking pressure adjust FRL
(Filter/Regulator/Lubricator unit)*.
'Sold separately
