The Sturtevant Tiger is a versatile mobile industrial vacuum cleaner for bulk material pick-up and vacuum cleaning by one operator. Designed for a single hose with a bore of up to 50mm and a 30m length, the Tiger is available in two size and power combinations.
As standard, model 503 features two 1kW by-pass vacuum motors with a 48 litre collection bin capacity, while Model 504 features three 1kW by-pass vacuum motors and a larger 56 litre capacity making it suitable for larger more demanding tasks.
Each model may be specified with either an intégral primary-interceptor bin or intégral hopper. The interceptor bin is idéal for collecting bulky and difficult to handle materials and has a 56-litre capacity. The 23-litre hopper option is designed for bulk material handling and; fitted with a level probe and slide valve; allows material to be safely discharged directly into a bag or container.
As standard, the Tiger is supplied on a highly manoeuvrable wheeled-chassis just 560mm wide. This allows it to move between machinery and through doorways with ease. An array of spécial versions, options and accessories allow the Tiger to be adapted to wide-ranging, wet, dry, hazardous and corrosive material applications.
