The Sturtevant Cougar heavy-duty industrial vacuum cleaner is designed for bulk pick-up and heavy-duty vacuum cleaning by one operator. High suction performance and good manoeuvrability make the Cougar suitable for the very toughest mobile vacuum cleaning tasks.

A removable 80-litre stainless-steel collection bin allows the Cougar to deal with large volumes of material, while its choice of hoses up to 18m in length and 65mm in diameter allow larger particles to be handled. Manoeuvrability is assured by a standard wheeled chassis with pushing handle, while twin gas struts assist in lifting the filter unit from the collection bin for ease of emptying.

Two versions are available to suit either general or high-demand and continuous operation. For general use, the 1240 version features three 1kW bypass vacuum motors and single-phase 240v power supply, while the 3415 version uses a 4kw three-phase 415v motor to drive a D-type turbo exhauster.

Both feature a back-flushing valve and tool basket as standard and share a range of filtration, hose and other

accessory options allowing them to be tailored to a variety of applications.
