Whether the requirement is to replace a uniton an existing centralised vacuum cleaning system or to power a pneumatic conveying system, Sturtevant offer a wide choice of value engineered products. Low running and maintenance costs are a common factor and options range from the simplest 2kW exhauster and filter set ups to substantial process integrated systems of 75kW and more. The Sturtevant range includes models for every requirement from general housekeeping duties to process spillage collection, and for solids or liquids. Power options on selected models include electric, compressed air, propane gas or petrol and there are flameproof machines for use in hazardous environments. Customised Models

Tiger - Combines compact design and 48 litrecapacity with strong suction resulting from 2 or 3 individually switched 1000W motors. Wherever there is a need to collect material for recycling or disposal, Sturtevant can customise machines and systems to meet individual user specifications. Examples to date have included mobile machines for the M.O.D for use aboard aircraft, sump cleaners for collecting dirty machine oil for disposal, machines constructed to food industry standards for the collection of spillages from conveyor lines and centralised systems for applications ranging from pharmaceutical production to power generation. Panther - For the more demanding industrialapplication. 48 litre capacity and a choice of 2.2kw or 4kw options. Cougar Chieftain - For bulk pick-up and heavy duty cleaning.Removable heavy-duty collection bin. Choice of motors: 3 phase, 4kW or single phase 3kW. - This ‘ultimate’ mobile comes in 56 or 112litre capacity versions with either 7.5kw or 15kw motors. Can also be used with fixed pipework a centralised system.
