When it comes to
Industrial Vacuum Cleaning Systems, no-one else has more experience than
STURTEVRFIT
Number one Since 1893
Having introduced the principle of turbine vacuum cleaning during the early 1900's. Clyde Materials Handling's Sturtevant brand is still the leading name for industrial mobile vacuum cleaners and centralised vacuum cleaning systems.
With over 100 years of manufacturing expertise, Sturtevant systems can be found in every sector of industry, from general housekeeping duties to highly specialised applications involving hazardous products or materials with abrasive, toxic or explosive characteristics.
Whatever the requirement, Sturtevant has the expertise and the experience to provide the right solutions. These
are some of the features that make Sturtevant so
special.
■ Every component or product is designed to achieve
optimum efficiency
■ The turbo air exhausters provide ideal vacuum/airflow characteristics and are designed to tolerate dust laden air in the event of filter failure
■ Power consumption varies in proportion to air throughput, resulting in minimum operating cost.
■ Engineered for long-life - in excess of 20 years
■ Routine maintenance is limited to periodic
lubrication, belt tensioning and filter seal checks
■ 'H' type HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arrester) filtration is available
■ Systems also available for liquids or damp materials
Centralised Systems
These are the most effective solution where quantities of
dust or other material must be regularly removed from one or more floor levels to a central point on a regular basis, or where the local conditions preclude the use or
a mobile machine.
A series of hose connection points at key locations throughout the building are connected by a system of
fixed pipework to a conveniently sited filter separator and turbo exhauster unit. This allows material to be drawn
from several locations to a single point for disposal or recycling back into the process.
■ Systems for industrial or office applications
■ Choice of mobile (truck mounted) or fixed exhauster unit
■ Simple and effective to operate
■ Can accommodate several operators working simultaneously
■ Suitable for new build or retro-fit
■ Systems can be provided to handle materials that
are abrasive, toxic or explosive
