Bearing mounted stationary field clutch, good generalpurpose selection and easy to mount. Flange mounted stationary field clutch, requires precisemounting of stator, axially shorter, suits higher speeds. Page 6.22 Page 6.24

Tooth forms

Standard toothform for torquetransmission in both directions with minimal backlash Torque limiting toothform with 45°tip angle for high consistency ofrelease torque
CLUTCHES& BRAKES Fixed position toothform. Singleposition for synchronisation of inputto output. Multi engagementpositions also possible. Saw toothform allows engagement athigher speeds up to 100 r/min. Fulltorque is transmitted in specifieddirection only.
