User Port Selection Guide
This guide will help you select the right User Port for your application. All User Port models can connect to standard peripherals at the desktop including monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers. Support of other peripherals depends on the specific User Port. The following table outlines the features of all ClearCube User Port models and the MVX, which is a C/Port accessory for connecting up to four monitors to a single C/Port.

1. The MVX is a C/Port accessory that can be matched with a NVIDIA mezzanine video card on the PC blade to drive up to four displays.
2. Audio Out refers to audio from blade to user port for connecting speakers. Audio In refers to signals from user port to blade for connecting a microphone to user port.
3. Audio In is not supported over RDP. Audio In can only be used locally on the I/Port.
4. The C/Port transparently extends USB 1.1 from the PC Blade, enabling support for a wide variety of USB devices.
5. The I9440, I9420 and C7420 do not accept PS2 peripherals such as keyboard and mouse. All peripherals on these User Ports are USB based connections.
6. For customers that require the use of the I9440, I9420 and C7420 in conjunction with VGA connectors on their displays, you may use a DVI to VGA adapters.
7. Please refer to the Certified Peripheral List for supported keyboard and mouse models.
