| | | EN 954-1 The SafeC 400 safety relay from CEDES is the newest technological generation of evaluation modules, which ensure the simultaneous monitoring of the most varied safety components. The SafeC 400 offers everything that is required for the safe use of a machine: Up to 10 safety components like emergency STOP button, light curtain, scanner etc. can be connected to a SafeC 400. But that's not all: with the integrated force guided and redundant relays (up to 8 electrically isolated circuits) SafeC 400 can switch direct loads of up to 1' 100 VA per circuit! SafeC 400 is also available with monitored semiconductor safety outputs which energize and monitor external contactors. For some manufacturing processes it is important that the process not be interrupted even during an emergency STOP. It may be safer, for example, to first slow down the machine and then initiate a controlled stop. With the SafeC 400, the separate output blocks may be configurated with specific time delays. This for example allows one safety output signal to discontinue a process, and a second safety output signal, time delayed, to activate a physical stop. | | |
