The L-Configuration of the Safe2+

Safety and Automation - 6148 Safe2+ L-Configuration

IEC 61496 EN 954-1

Safety Light Curtain (Cat.2) The Safe2+ L-Configuration involves thefixed mechanical connection of two adja- cent protective fields with a narrow, sta- ble mechanical bracket (90° or 125°). This ensures speedy installation and meets the highest design requirements of respective applications. The narrow dimensions allow the resolution to be maintained at the system corner, a factor also reflected in a favourable operating range. The Safe2+ L-Configuration is idealwhen it comes to replacing a mechanical cover or as a practical and optically appealing combination for a vertical access guard and a horizontal area guard. It has proven itself under the most deman- ding industrialconditions, despite the nar-row profile cross-section of only 30 x 40 mm. The modular system construction in steps of only 120 mm offers installation options in the most varied applications.
