The Cassel metal detector METAL SHARK® OCTA 1800x1800 reduces the rejection of valuable

logs. Only logs that pose a real danger to the saw are rejected. We achieve this goal because the METAL SHARK® detects metal throughout the sensor aperture with almost the same sensitivity. Conventional metal detectors find very small nails on the outside of logs. These do not pose a potential danger to the saw. However, big metal parts inside the log are not detected. The new Cassel metal detector detects outside and inside the log the same metal objects. Therefore, logs not posing a potential danger to the saw are not rejected.
