Ail are for use with Rfrigrants 12, 22, and 502. They may be used with water-cooled air-cooled or evaporativecondensers. Each compressor unit can match r驩frigrant and job requirements. They are suitable for air conditioning and rfrig驩ration applications where dependability and economy are desired. Efficient Economical Opթration with internai capacity control. Compressor capacity is automatically reduced to as low as 25% of full load in direct response to suction pressure changes. Horsepower requirements are decreased, thus con-serving power and water. External electric or pneumatic devices can be used to activate the control. Cut Initial and Opթration Costs with automatic unloaded starting which permits the use of less expensive normal torque motors. An oil-pressure-actuated device loads compressor after start-up. ͕ Longer Unit Life is assured by positive pressure lubri-cation provided by large-capacity manually rversible oil pump and automatic pressure regulator. Quiet Op镩ration with vapor cushion valves extends valve life by preventing metal-to-metal contact. Valves open into recessed guides, compressing a cushion of gas behind them. Low Rթfrigrant Pressure Drop adds to compressor ef-ficiency. Large gas passages contributing to the low pressure drop are obtained by an integrally cast cylinder block and crankcase which saves bulk and facilittes inspection and service. 颕 Vital Parts are Protected against dirt and sludge by contin-uous filtration with a full-flow (5H 120,126 Models) replace-able oil filter cartridge. Built-in suction line strainer and magnetic plugs provide additional protection. Reduced Cylinder Wear results from circulation of rթfrigͩrant gas around cylinder sleeves which are located in suction manifold. ͕ Extended Compressor Life by ease of field maintenance and replacement of ail wearable parts such as cylinder liners, pistons and bearings. Accessories for versatile application include direct-drive coupling; belt drive flywheels; crankcase heater; muffler; water-cooled oil coolers; partial flow oil filter (5H40 thru 5H86); and oil safety switch. © Carlyle Compressor Company 1980 CCC-A500
