| Connection to the internet ■ It generally must be possible to connect the CMM computer to the internet (http://netservice.imt.zeiss.de). ■ This connection can be made in one of several ways (from the customer network or via DSL or ISDN). Telephone for parallel communication ■ A conventional telephone connection located near the CMM is essential. Parallel communication with the operator is required during a Teleservice session. This ensures that any travel commands can be halted via Emergency Stop in case of an emergency. Customer-specific login name and password ■ A conference number and password are required to make a Teleservice connection.
