® operation

In a manually operated system, the probingforce ranges between false contacts and too heavily applied measuring forces. Both extremesfalsify results. Therefore, ScanMax

®

automatical-ly monitors the force which the operator applies during the scanning process. And it records onlythe points which were captured with the rightmeasuring force. This means that operator influences are eliminated, which is important when the systemis used by several different operators. Just trace the workpiece contour, and the systemautomatically computes the required workpiece alignment.
