® measures free-form surfaces and standard geometries on manual or CNCcoordinate industrial measuring machines. The complex programming sequences provided by conventional systems are available in Metrolog II Correcting CAD data without involving your design department. Metrolog II
® operates with standard interfaceformats such as IGES, VDAFS, SET or STEP, as well as native formats such as CATIA, UNISURF and UNIGRAPHICS. You can import workpiece data directly from your production or design department anduse it to generate measuring programs.The integrated CAD interface handles alldifferent types of CAD surface descriptionssuch as Bezier, NURBS and B-Spline.

® utilizes CAD data with its layer structure. Existing surface elements canbe deleted, masked, rotated, reversed anddisplayed on all layers provided by your CAD system. Edit the CAD data to meet requirements. With Metrolog II® existingCAD data can be used for your measuring task.
