K The coupling V series pumps with vertical shaft comprise two mainparts:
• The first one consisting of an assembly in impregna-ted graphite (GRAPHILOR (J) is supplied bored and grooved, pro-vided that you accept our standard motor (see chapter
"information required to order a pump"). Two plates (T) enable the assembly of the pumps on anadequate frame. The bearing frame (G) holds two opposite conical ballbearings. This design allows absorption of important
axial pressures (for example with liquid with a high spe-
cific weight).Oil lubrication of the bearing is made by
two Tecalemit
lubricators.The time between two lubri-
cation operations should be moderate e.g. approx.
5000hours. Materials on the shaft. Leakages, theflow rate of which is reduced by countervanes, travel
up the shaft, then are collected in the bleedbox(D),
pushed back by a deflector(E) and finally driven
back to the tank by an adequate piping. >

frame(G) and a coupling (J). All the pieces in contact with the pumped fluid aremade in GRAPHILOR (impregnated graphite resisting
to most corrosive fluids).
The bearing frame is in cast iron and the other metal-
lic parts are in steel.
All metallic parts are protected outside by an anti-
corrosion paint.
The joints are in IT (CAF: rubberised asbestos) anti-
acid quality or in ethylene-propylene. The "GRAPHILOR" assembly is supported by tie rodsequipped with
spring washers which ensure a constant
compression between assembly plates (L) and (K).
The front clearance (between the body and the vanes
of the impeller) can be adjusted by adding or remo-
ving the shims (AA).
In opposition to other types of pumps, these SUCTIONCUT aa
