Cambridge Technology Standard Mirror Coatings: S1Protected Silver A scanning system is not complete without themirrors. The mirrors are an integral component of the mechanical structure and unless properly designed, manufactured, and mounted, they can severely limit the performance of the galvo system. We offer a wide selection of X and Y mirrors for beam diameters from 3mm to 75mm, FEA simulation-designed for minimal inertia with maximum stability, resulting in optimum scanning performance and quality mirrors for single and multi-axis optical scanning applications.•Mirror mounting is critical to the performance ofany galvo system. Our method of precision mass- balancing provides the lowest wobble and highest resonant frequencies, enabling faster scanning speeds and excellent positioning repeatability.•CTI standard mirror substrates are made from fusedsilica or silicon. We offer a wide selection of standard mirror coatings to reflect any laser wavelength. Custom mirrors and coatings are also available upon request including silicon carbide and beryllium substrates.•As a service to our customers, if CambridgeTechnology does not offer a mirror design to fit your needs, we can precision mount your mirror or load to ensure mass balancing for maximum system performance. We then custom tune each system G1Protected Gold
