Hazardous-area sensorlocation with IS interface
Remote sensor versions areavailable The
oxygen analysers in the G1010Series that allow the separation ofthe control/ display module and sensorby up to several hundred metres.Depending on the distance andconcentration being measured, thesensor is either connected directly tothe display module orviaan integraltwo-wire transmitter.Because the sensor conforms to the‘simple apparatus’ category as definedby European standard EN 50020,remote use galvanic cell primaryelements and can measure oxygen
concentrations from 100% to 0.lppm(parts per million) in a variety of gases. The instruments are microprocessor-controlled and provide exceptionalperformance and versatility.A large multi-digit, autoranging LCD shows the concentration and user-adjustable parameters. >
Applications
Two alarm channels, user-programmable to be high, low or off, each provide one set of volt-freechangeover contacts, and can be setto any concentration within the span ofthe instrument. >
♦ Air separation plants
sensors may be located in ahazardous area. Asuitable zenerbarrier or
galvanic isolator must be
inserted between the sensor assemblyand the control/display module. >
♦ Nitrogen purged solderingsystems
Three other analysers are derivedfrom the G1010:The bench-top G210 >
♦ Cylinder gas quality
A user programmable analogueoutput is a mainspowered analyser which can beequipped with a variety of samplingsystems and accessories including a
pump, filter and
flow control. >
♦ Food packaging and storing
can be set to one of severalranges. A choice of 0 to 5v or 4 to20mA is provided at the time ofordering. >
♦ Purge gas monitoring
The wall-mounting G610 ispackaged in an IP65 enclosure
allowing it to be located in almost anyindustrial situation. >
♦ Landfill gas monitoring
Several versions of sensor areavailable, >
♦ enabling the analyser tooperate at optimum performance in a
diverse range of applications. Theseinclude a sensor suitable for operatingin the presence of high concentrations
of mildly acidic gases such as carbondioxide and hydrogen sulphide. >
♦ Workplace air monitoring
♦ Medical monitoring
