| | | Notes: 1. The user DAC is normally used to indicate the current wavelength, with a linear transfer function giving 0V at 300nm and +5V at 800nm, i.e. 10mV per nm However, any alternative transfer functions can be programmed. 2. Unlike the other input pins on this connector, this pin will be at logic high level if not connected, which corresponds to the ready state. For normal use it can therefore remain disconnected. Integration of optical signals by the our photometry modules is disabled while this input remains low. 3. This pin is currently reserved for possible independent control of a shutter elsewhere in the system. However, the slits status output on IDC pin 7 can already be used to control an external shutter synchronously with the shuttering action of the slits if required. 4. If preferred, the go input on IDC pin 26 can be used instead. These two inputs are ORed together by the internal software, to allow either or both of two external sources to control this function.
