Both are auto range TrueRMS Digital Multimeter. With TRMS function, you get the correct measurement even when harmonics are present. Both can measure voltage 1000V DC/AC, current 10A DC/AC, resistance, capacitance, frequency, and etc. BS702 and BS703 also have dual display can show 2-measure value at the same time. For example: display frequency value during AC voltage measurement. Reducing time to take two individual measurements. Bulti-in 1 ms PEAK Hold, 100sets Memory location, RS-232C PC interface and Windows Software (except BS701), enable user to catch/monitor signal trend and save as graphical report for advance data analysis. It is useful for monitoring or research purpose. BS700 conforms to IEC 1010-1, CATlll 1000V. overvoltage protection to guard against spikes up to 8000V. They even protect against measuring voltage if the knob is set on ohms accidentally. They are designed to withstand falling from benchtops, ladders or other work areas.
